About our Practice

Why Choose Princeton Gastroenterology Associates?

Princeton Gastroenterology Associates, PA (PGA) is a regional leader in the treatment of gastrointestinal and liver disorders, serving the Central New Jersey region since 1990. Five board certified physicians, together with a large clinical and administrative support staff comprise our group. With an office and state-of-the-art endoscopy center in West Windsor/Princeton, PGA provides the highest quality of care available in digestive disease diagnosis, evaluation and management.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients with digestive and liver diseases. We strive to treat each person with dignity, respect and attention to detail. Our support staff includes outstanding administrators and nursing professionals who pride themselves in prompt and courteous communication and responsiveness with our patients.

While offering a full range of gastrointestinal diagnostic services including endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy, we specialize in treating acid reflux, Barrett’s esophagus, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer prevention, as well as liver diseases. We see patients with a variety of gastrointestinal problems, including difficulty swallowing, heartburn, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, constipation and hepatitis.

Our practices utilize a state-of-the-art electronic medical records system, enabling us to be more responsive to our patients’ needs. Our mission is to give our patients the most professional care possible.

Easy Appointment Process: We now offer online scheduling that allows patients the flexibility and convenience of scheduling an appointment online, 24/7. We always have live receptionists handling phone calls during business hours. We do not force patients to listen through a rehearsed and impersonal voicemail to only be promised a return phone call.

Pleasant Visit Experience: We do not overbook our office appointments and force patients to wait a long time, even hours, to get into the exam room. If we run late, it is because we are devoting as much time as is necessary for patient care, which at times can be complex and time-consuming.

Availability: We aim for doctor visits to be within 1-2 weeks for routine, non urgent matters.

Quality: Patients are always evaluated by a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. We do not employ Nurses, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, or other similar mid-level practitioners in our office.

Our medical practice is independently and fully owned by our physicians.

We are not owned by a large healthcare corporation or a large hospital system. We believe in the old fashioned doctor-patient relationship, where the doctor provides personal attention in a comfortable atmosphere. We think independently, provide medical care independently and always place our patients’ needs first.
